3 PEOPLE LIKE THIS co-founders Mike Ricca & Bruno Derlin
For any of the 16,000+ followers already familiar with the 3 PEOPLE LIKE THIS PODCAST weekly talk show, this "TOO" edition is a re-release of all the original episodes and a fresh reboot and expansion with some new and exciting surprises.
The original show featured hosts Bruno Derlin, Mike Ricca, and TJ Stone (who has moved on to a solo podcast called THE TJ STONE SHOW, which will also be kicking off with all new episodes imminently), getting together for weekly conversations about their own lives and their views on the scope of pop culture, social media, and other trends that "kids are into these days."
3 PEOPLE LIKE THIS PODCAST TOO! will retain some of the same elements that made the original podcast a fast-growing sensation (minus Mr. Stone), wherein Mike & Bruno engage in free-form phone conversations about anything and everything they would normally talk about on any given day, with 'all the juicy bits.'. Once their conversation is recorded, Bruno goes back into its content and pops in additional sound cues, musical interludes, and subversive segues in an effort to create a half hour show that will make Mike laugh out loud, above and beyond what might have already happened during the recording of the show. This intimate approach to comedy allows the co-hosts to constantly surprise one another, while surprising the listeners along for the ride.
Returning segments will include: "The Happy Times of Mike Ricca," wherein Mike, too often inadvertently, veers off topic to rant about personal issues with passion and virtually without any sense of restraint; "Reviews of Films We Haven't Seen;" and "Letters to Mike" wherein Mike addresses listeners' questions or feedback sent to him via e-mail. Guest appearances of other comics or people who might not otherwise know how funny they are, will also be welcomed on a frequent basis. And a brand new segment titled "Where Are They Now?" will focus on a quasi-celebrity (i.e. Steven Bauer, aka Manolo, from SCARFACE or a supporting player in a recent Taylor Swift music video whose name no one knows) and their current whereabouts - either professionally or literally.
